What is this bas-relief about?
The concept was based on the love story of a young couple who wanted this piece to be placed in their bedroom. During the search for an idea, a particular detail emerged: the couple's emotional bond was strengthened when they overcame their fear and witnessed a volcanic eruption during a flight. The heroes' fear of flying made this moment particularly powerful - the shared stress became a symbol of their coming together.
The panel shows this volcano, but from an unusual angle - a "top view", as if we were flying over it again. This is not just an image, but a literal metaphor for their experience. To enhance the dramatic effect, backlighting has been incorporated. The shape of a volcano is two interpenetrating elements, air and earth, swirling around a chimney where their fire of love burns. Now, every time they look at this panel, they will remember the storm of emotions that united them.
And may this volcano of love never go out!
